If you’ve got a hankering for watching the night sky burst and crackle with lights, glimmering and shimmering as you watch your breath steam into the night air, then hurry and enter Exceptional’s first travel competition.
The winner will have the chance to bring a travelling companion on board the Spirit of Adventure, Saga’s boutique cruise ship, on the Arctic Norway and the Northern Lights 15-night cruise.

The cruise included your own balcony cabin with a chance to spend an extended time in Tromso – designed to increase your chances of seeing this famous celestial light show.
Most people will be familiar with the Northern Lights, but what actually are they? They’ve had significance in a great number of religions over the years, but now are simply marvelled at for the natural marvel they are.
Created by a stream of high-energy sun particles interacting with the Earth’s atmosphere, the Aurora Borealis is an experience that most of us will have been desperate to see all their lives.
Why not do it on a boutique cruise ship, where all food, drink and entertainment is already paid for? And a driver will come and pick you up from your house before whisking you onboard the trip of a lifetime?

- The prize is non-exchangeable, no cash alternative is offered, and it cannot be transferred to an alternative sailing date or otherwise amended. If the winner and their companion are unable to travel on the relevant sailing dates for any reason (including, for example, as a result of not being able to arrange adequate travel insurance if Saga’s included travel insurance is declined by the insurer), the winner may transfer the prize to a friend or relative on the same terms as set out in these conditions and subject to Saga Cruises Limited’s booking conditions.
