How to set up Apple Fitness Plus

Cancelling your Peloton app membership is more straightforward than with some other companies
Is concern about how to cancel a Peloton app membership stopping you from giving it a try? How many of us, filled with good intentions, have taken out a gym membership before enthusiasm wanes, attendance drops, and, eventually, we find ourselves trapped paying for something we no longer want?
Some of us (okay, me) may promise ourselves that next week we’ll definitely start going again, but only after watching our favourite TV show, walking the cat, washing the dishes and, oh, the garden also needs doing. Whether it’s misplaced optimism, guilt, or the fact that cancelling contracts can sometimes be painful, it’s all too easy to let those monthly subscriptions continue, needlessly costing you money.
While the Peloton app has a lot to offer, you may still decide to cancel it for whatever reason. Happily, it’s a simple process regardless of the device you’re using.

While the Peloton app has a lot to offer, you may still decide to cancel it for whatever reason. Happily, it’s a simple process regardless of the device you’re using.
If you run the Peloton app through an Android smartphone or tablet, then you’ll need to complete the following steps:
If you’re using an iPhone or iPad, you can cancel your Peloton app subscription as follows:
If you prefer, you also have the option of cancelling your Peloton app subscription via the website. Complete the following steps:
As with many schemes, Peloton memberships automatically renew until you cancel them. It’s therefore essential that you cancel as soon as you can to avoid being charged for another billing period.
Peloton offers two types of membership: monthly and annual. In both cases, when you cancel you will be able to access Peloton until the end of the current billing cycle (in other words, until the end of the month or twelve-month period as applicable). Peloton states in its terms and conditions that you won’t be entitled to a refund of any membership fees you’ve already paid.
If you subscribe to the Peloton all-access membership, you also have the option of pausing your membership for up to three months at a time (one and two-month pauses are also available). This is ideal if you still plan to use Peloton but won’t have access to it for a while. For example, because you are travelling or you’ve picked up an injury.
To pause your membership, follow the steps outlined in the “How to cancel Peloton membership via the web” section above, and select “Pause” instead of “Cancel”. While your membership is paused, you won’t be able to access any Peloton content.
And when you’re ready, you can log back in to resume your membership rather than waiting for your pause period to finish.
If you’ve never tried the Peloton app before, it may be reassuring to know that you can cancel your membership with relative ease. You can see what we thought of it in our Peloton app review.
If you do fancy giving it a try, it’s easy to set up the Peloton app and there’s a free membership tier offering access to a curated set of workouts for free.
It won’t give you access to all of Peloton’s content but it’s a great way to give the app a try, risk-free. Alternatively, if you’re already an Apple user, you could consider giving Apple Fitness+ a try, to see if you prefer its offering.

His degree in Medieval History prepared him less adequately for his career than you might expect, but the years spent working in technology focused retail were much more helpful.
Outside of work, Steven is passionate about health and fitness, and particularly enjoys high-intensity interval training, weight training, and increasingly, spending time recovering. Steven loves reading, films and a wide variety of sports. A particular highlight was watching Viv Richards and Sachin Tendulkar batting together in an exhibition match.
He wishes he could travel more. He can also tell you a lot about the Anglo-Saxons, Vikings, and Carolingians. Most of his non-work time is spent with his young children, who are the living embodiment of high-intensity training.
